Now we are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join our General Team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our General Counsel to implement compliance with regulatory requirements in Tier-1 regions (USA, EU, UK, etc.), provide legal support for the company’s operational activities, and find solutions to complex legal matters.

Your impact:

  • Researching and analysing legal risks in jurisdictions where the company operates, with a focus on North America, Europe and UK;
  • Implementing legal compliance across different sectors of business operations (data privacy, marketing, payments, consumer rights etc.);
  • Drafting and revising commercial contracts, internal policies, and other legal documents;
  • Raising awareness about legal requirements;
  • Supporting day-to-day legal activities and operations of the company;
  • Communicating with law firms and service providers, ensuring the company’s interests are always represented.

    About you:

    • 2-3+ year of relevant experience with a top-tier law firm, Big 4 company or IT product company;
    • Fluent English (including basic legal drafting). International certificates such as IELTS/TOEFL will be an advantage;
    • Degree from one of the top law universities or faculties in Ukraine. A degree from foreign university will be an advantage;
    • Initiative and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters and to think creatively to solve complex legal issues;
    • Proven experience in data privacy law. CIPP certification would be a plus;
    • Knowledge of EU/US consumer protection legislation would be a plus;
    • Result-oriented, well-organized, self-starter;
    • Excellent research, analytical, and argumentation skills. High level of critical thinking.
