Who are we looking for?

As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a skilled Back-end Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the stability, scalability, and ongoing development of our CRM system. We're looking for a dynamic individual who can take ownership of the technical aspects of our CRM, drive architectural decisions, and foster the growth of our technical team. You'll be a part of a team led by Serhii Matvieiev, who joined OBRIO during its early days as a small group of 6 at Genesis R&D center. Beginning as an iOS developer, he advanced to roles such as iOS Lead, Head of Mobile, and now holds the position of COO. Moreover, your daily interactions will involve collaborating with our technical team, which currently includes a Front-End Developer, QA Engineer, and Back-End Developer.

Your impact:

  • Lead people management initiatives, including regular 1:1 sessions, facilitating team development through PDP formation, and overseeing hiring and firing processes;
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Head of Operations to prioritize tasks and plan sprints effectively;
  • Identify weaknesses within the team and implement strategies to address them collaboratively;
  • Drive improvements in CRM stability to enhance operational efficiency;
  • Participate in coding activities for 20-30% of your time;
  • Establish and nurture communication channels to foster collaboration with other verticals, promoting cross-functional synergy.

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, 5+ years of overall commercial experience;
  • Programming languages: Node.js, PHP 8.2, Javascript, Typescript;
  • Frameworks: Laravel framework, Nest.js, React;
  • Databases, caches, and storage: MySql (query optimization), Redis, Memcache;
  • Backend technologies, storage, databases: Websocket, RESTful API design;
  • Development approaches: Highload system building, Microservices architecture, SOLID, Design Patterns;
  • Additional technologies and tools: Docker, CI/CD, Git, Unit testing PHPUnit, Jest, ELK Stack, Grafana, Sentry, Kubernetes;
  • Project and team management: approaches (Agile, etc.), tools (Jira);
  • Ability to take responsibility, readiness to make difficult decisions and see tasks through to completion;
  • Growth mindset;
  • Flexibility, ability to adapt to different conditions;
  • Critical thinking.
